Breath Conductor™ (“BreathConductor,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a subscription-based wellness service operated by Muvik Labs, LLC (“Muvik Labs”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, and protect information when you access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

Terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions unless otherwise defined herein.

Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability Information

Certain optional wellness features may process:

• Heart rate (HR)

• Heart rate variability (HRV)

While these measurements may relate to a user’s physical condition, BreathConductor collects and uses them solely for wellness, personalization, pacing calibration, and user experience purposes and not for medical diagnosis, treatment, or healthcare services.

Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor Features

BreathConductor may allow users to connect compatible Bluetooth heart rate monitors, including chest straps, watches, and other devices that support standard Bluetooth heart rate services.

Connection to a Bluetooth device is always initiated by the user.

The Service does not automatically connect to Bluetooth devices without user action and permission.

Information Received from Bluetooth Devices

While connected, the Service may receive:

• Heart rate (beats per minute)

• Heart rate variability (HRV), if supported and transmitted by the device

Many Bluetooth devices provide heart rate information only.

If a Bluetooth device does not provide HRV data, no HRV value will be generated or stored from that Bluetooth session.

Bluetooth Data Collection

During pacing calibration sessions, the Service may temporarily use Bluetooth-provided measurements to:

• Display live heart rate information

• Compare pacing speeds

• Recommend pacing settings

• Improve personalization of breathing exercises

Users may disconnect Bluetooth devices at any time.

Data collection from the device ends when the connection is terminated, the user disconnects, or the browser session ends.

Camera-Based Wellness Features

BreathConductor may offer optional camera-based wellness features that estimate heart rate and heart rate variability.

Use of camera-based features is entirely voluntary and requires explicit permission through the user’s browser or device.

How Camera Processing Works

When enabled:

• The device camera may be used during a guided calibration session

• Camera frames may be transmitted to third-party processing services

• Heart rate and HRV estimates may be generated from the camera feed

Camera-based estimation is provided through third-party technology providers, including VitalLens by Rouast Labs.

What We Do Not Store

We do not intentionally store:

• Raw video recordings

• Facial recordings

• Biometric identifiers

• Biometric templates

• Stored facial recognition data

Camera processing is used solely for live wellness estimation during an active session.

Local Device Storage of Biometric Measurements

Certain HR and HRV measurements generated through Bluetooth devices or camera-based estimation may be stored locally within your browser on the device you are using.

This local storage exists solely to support pacing comparison and calibration features.

Information Stored Locally

Local records may include:

• Pacing speed tested

• Heart rate (BPM)

• HRV values and labels when available

• Date and time of capture

Retention of Local Measurements

Heart rate and HRV measurements stored locally are temporary.

BreathConductor is designed to automatically remove locally stored HR and HRV measurements after approximately twenty-four (24) hours.

After removal, those measurements are no longer available for pacing comparison unless captured again.

Users may also clear browser site data at any time through their browser settings.

Account Data vs. Local Device Data

BreathConductor distinguishes between account information and locally stored biometric measurements.

When a user saves a pacing speed to their account, only the selected pacing speed value may be transmitted to and stored on Muvik Labs servers.

HR measurements, HRV measurements, Bluetooth readings, camera-scan readings, and similar biometric measurements stored locally within the browser are not automatically uploaded to a user’s account unless a future feature specifically states otherwise and provides notice to users.

How We Use Information

We may use information collected through the Service to:

• Provide and maintain the Service

• Authenticate users

• Process subscriptions

• Personalize breathing and wellness experiences

• Support pacing calibration features

• Improve functionality and performance

• Respond to support requests

• Communicate with users

• Conduct internal research and product development

• Monitor usage trends and system performance

• Enforce our Terms and Conditions

• Comply with legal obligations

The Service may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to:

The Service is operated from the United States.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

BreathConductor is a wellness application only.

Muvik Labs makes no representation regarding the medical accuracy, clinical validity, or fitness of any wellness measurements generated through the Service.

Accuracy and Limitations

Heart rate and HRV measurements may be affected by:

• Device quality

• Bluetooth signal quality

• Sensor quality

• Lighting conditions

• Movement

• Camera quality

• Browser limitations

• Network conditions

• User positioning

• Environmental factors

Different devices and measurement methods may produce different results.

Muvik Labs does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or clinical validity of any heart rate or HRV measurement generated through the Service.

Children’s Privacy

BreathConductor is intended primarily for adult users.

The Service may offer optional family-friendly or child-friendly content designed to assist adults using the Service with children in family settings.

However, the Service is not directed toward children under the age of 13 as independent users.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement.

If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
